Proyecto educativo para mejorar la intervención enfermera en la espondilitis anquilosante

En este trabajo se realiza una síntesis de información sobre la espondilitis anquilosante y el papel que tiene enfermería en el apoyo a las personas con esta patología.
La espondilitis anquilosante es una enfermedad reumatológica con principal afección en las articulaciones y la columna vertebral, destacada por la inflamación y el dolor que provoca. Esta enfermedad tiene varias posibilidades de tratamiento basándose principalmente en el grado de enfermedad en el que se encuentre.
La espondilitis anquilosante produce un gran impacto en la vida diaria del paciente debido a la difícil movilización y el dolor que provoca, lo que necesita un buen trabajo de un equipo multidisciplinar que se centre y abarque todas las esferas del paciente.
Se debe realizar un adecuado seguimiento y dar un apoyo adecuado, en lo que enfermería tiene una gran importancia. Centrándose en la esfera emocional y psicológica, prestándole la atención necesaria y adecuada, apoyándoles durante el proceso y enseñando técnicas de afrontamiento y expresión para poder convivir con la enfermedad de la mejor manera posible. Para ello en este trabajo se desarrolla un proyecto educativo enfocado al equipo de enfermería para que pueda mejorar sus habilidades.

At this work there are a summary of information about the ankylosing spondylitis and the role that the nurse have in the support to the people with this pathology.
The ankylosing spondylitis is a rheumatology disease with a main affection in the joints and in the vertebral columna, distinguished because of the inflammation and the pain that the disease cause. This pathology have different treatments according to the degree of the disease taht the patient have.
Is a disease produce a big impact in the diary life of the person because of the hard mobilization and the pain caused by the pathology, this need a good work maked by the multidisciplinary team focused in all sphere of the person.
It´s necessary an appropriate monitoring and with the suitable support, in this nursing have so much importance. Nursing have to focus in the person specially in the emotional and psychologically context, provide them an sufficient and necessary support and attention, supporting them during the process and teaching them confrontation and expresión skills for live with the disease in the best way would be possible. Bacause of that, this work is about an educative proyect for the nursing team for improve their abilities.
