Programación didáctica de Inglés. 5º curso de Educación Primaria : Around the world

Este es un proyecto para el quinto cuso de primaria. Es un proyecto basado en tareas. Por lo tanto, las situaciones planteadas solo se pueden completar trabajando en las tareas. Todo el curso tiene como hilo conductor la historia de un explorador que aprende inglés viajando por el mundo. Durante nueve meses, como el año escolar, nuestro personaje principal viajará aprendiendo sobre diferentes culturas, lo que tienen para ofrecer y lo que podemos incorporar en las nuestras. Con él, los estudiantes aprenderán sobre la pronunciación, tendrán una actividad de lectura en cada unidad y escucharán los diferentes acentos. Una de las unidades de cada trimestre se puede trabajar de forma transversal con otra asignatura.
Este proyecto puede ser realizado por un grupo de personas más grande o más pequeño. Así que al menos cuenta con el hablante nativo y el profesor de inglés. El auxiliar de conversación probablemente sea de uno de los países de las unidades. En esa unidad, él o ella será quien proponga el reto para que los estudiantes puedan al menos tener una idea de una variedad de acentos y entonaciones. La incorporación de otros hablantes nativos, personas que hablan inglés que ha estado en esos países u otros maestros son bienvenidos a participar. Es importante que con este proyecto trabajemos diversidad, participación y trabajo en equipo. Por lo tanto, es importante mostrarlo no solo con las unidades, sino también dando un ejemplo e invitando a la mayor cantidad de personas posible a participar.
Todas las unidades también se basan en la ley. Sigue la orden para escuelas bilingües en Madrid. Este segundo documento es más completo y detallado, por lo que proporciona una visión más clara de lo que debemos lograr y los objetivos de cada curso.

This is a project for a fifth-grade year. It’s a task-based project. Therefore, there is a situation that must be completed by working on the tasks. The entire course has a guiding line with is the story of an explorer that learns English by traveling the world. For nine months, like the school years’ time, our main character will travel learning about different cultures, what they have to offer and what can we incorporate in our own from them. With him, students will learn about pronunciation, will have a reading activity in each unit and will have listening of the different accents. One of the units in each trimester can be worked in a transversal way with another subject. In the first trimester, we have task about music that can also be worked in music class. In the second semester, we have a task about a tribe that can also be worked on in physical education since they have dances that can be learned. In the third semester, there is a task about cooking that can also be worked with math’s class, to talk about quantities and measurements. In all subjects the teacher can also talk about no curricular aspects that are also important such as cooperative work, listening correctly when others are speaking or coming to an agreement.
This project can be done with a bigger or smaller group of people. So at least it counts with the native speaker and the English teacher. The native speaker will probably be from one of the countries from the units. In that unit, he or she will do the listening so students can at least get an idea of a variety of accents and intonations. The incorporation of other native speakers, people who speak English that have been to those countries or other teachers are welcome to participate. It ́s important that with this project to works diversity, participation, and teamwork. Therefore it ́s important to show it not only with the units but also by setting an example and inviting as many people as possible to participate.
All the units are also based on the law. It follows the curriculum of Madrid’s community and the document for bilingual schools in Madrid. This second document is complete and more detailed so it provides a clearer view of what we should achieve and the goals for each course. For this project, we are focusing on the objectives for fifth grade.
