Optimizing operations through data analytics to improve efficiency

El objetivo principal del proyecto es el estudio y la obtención de datos e información sobre todos los eventos mecánicos que han sufrido los aviones des Amazon Air EU durante los últimos años hasta la actualidad. Con la verificación y comprensión de los datos, se busca encontrar patrones de actuación de los aviones con el objetivo de mitigar todos los eventos que puedan generar retrasos en los envíos y que, en última instancia, puedan afectar negativamente al cliente.
Para conseguir todo esto, se generarán, a partir de los datos obtenidos, distintos dashboards y visualizaciones que permitan tener una imagen sólida del rendimiento de los distintos aviones que conforman la red de Amazon en Europa. Una vez conseguido todo lo anterior, el planteamiento de nuevas estrategias tanto por parte de Amazon como por parte de los carriers que trabajan con él se conseguirá de una forma más eficaz.
Para que este proyecto pueda llevarse a cabo, tanto la recolección de datos como el estudio previo de las legislaciones entorno a los aviones juegan un papel clave. El fin de este proyecto no es solo el de crear una imagen actual del estado de las operaciones de Amazon si no que también el de crear una nueva forma de trabajo basado en los datos y en su automatización.
La visualización, el estudio de datos y las estrategias de las operaciones serán el tronco principal de este proyecto.

The main objective of the project is to study and obtain data and information on all mechanical events that have occurred on Amazon Air EU aircraft in recent years to date. With the verification and understanding of the data, the aim is to find patterns of aircraft performance in order to mitigate all events that may cause delays in shipments and that, ultimately, may adversely affect the customer.
To achieve all this, various dashboards and visualizations will be generated from the data obtained to provide a solid picture of the performance of the different aircraft that make up Amazon's network in Europe. Once all the above has been achieved, the approach of new strategies both by Amazon and by the carriers that work with it will be achieved in a more effective way.
For this project to be carried out, both data collection and the prior study of the legislation surrounding airplanes play a key role. The aim of this project is not only to create a current picture of the state of Amazon's operations but also to create a new way of working based on data and its automation.
Visualization, data analysis and operations strategies will be the backbone of this project.
