La actual crisis financiera ha tenido un gran impacto en el Tercer Sector, y por ello, durante estos últimos años, las Organizaciones No Gubernamentales (ONG) se han visto obligadas a realizar grandes esfuerzos a la hora de obtener la financiación necesaria para llevar a cabo sus proyectos. Particularmente, los fondos públicos han sufrido recortes muy considerables, lo que significa, que aquellas organizaciones excesivamente dependientes de estos recursos han sido las más afectadas. Por otra parte, muchas ONG han conseguido que su financiación privada se mantenga estable mediante la captación de nuevos socios. En las páginas que siguen se presenta el estado de la cuestión y se proponen diversas soluciones.

The current financial crisis has had a great impact on the third sector, and therefore, in recent years, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) have been forced to make major efforts in obtaining the necessary funding to carry out their projects. Particularly, public funds have suffered very significant cuts, which mean that those organizations too dependent on these resources have been the most affected ones. Moreover, many NGOs have succeeded in maintaining their private funding stable by attracting new partners. The status of the issue is presented in the following pages, and different solutions are proposed.
