La importancia de los factores genéticos y epigenéticos en el desarrollo de las adicciones

En esta revisión trataremos los diferentes factores que influyen en el desarrollo de las adicciones centrándonos concretamente en la importancia que tienen la genética y la epigenética sobre el individuo en relación con la existencia de una predisposición hacia el desarrollo de estos trastornos y su mantenimiento.
Conocer cómo éstos influyen en el individuo nos permite realizar una mejor planificación a la hora de prevenir y tratar este tipo de afecciones.

In this paper we will discuss the different factors that influence the development of addictions, focusing specifically on the importance of genetics and epigenetics on the individual in relation to the existence of a predisposition towards the development of these disorders and their maintenance.
Knowing how these influence the individual allows us to make better planning when it comes to preventing and treating this type of affliction.
