Inmigración latinoamericana en España (2009-2019)

El flujo migratorio latinoamericano hacia España ha ido experimentando cambios a lo largo de los años. En la segunda década del siglo XXI, en concreto, en el período entre 2009 y 2019, esta comunidad ha mantenido su importancia en España si bien ha ido variando en función de las circunstancias de sus países origen y del país de destino, el nuestro. En 2019 los inmigrantes latinoamericanos suponían el 25% del total de extranjeros residentes en España. Pero no siempre ha sido así. Al igual que no siempre fueron los colombianos, venezolanos y ecuatorianos los mayoritarios. En este trabajo de investigación se analizan las principales características de esta comunidad por su procedencia, género y edad. Además, se investigan la distribución espacial y el papel de este colectivo en el mercado laboral español. Se tratan los retos que encuentran estos individuos y las repercusiones para los países de origen y de destino. Y se examinan esas injusticias que confiemos, en unos años, sean impensables.

The Latin American migratory flow to Spain has undergone changes over the years. In the second decade of the 21st century, specifically, in the period between 2009 and 2019, this community has maintained its importance in Spain, although it has varied depending on the circumstances of its origin countries and the country of destination, Spain. In 2019, Latin American immigrants accounted for 25% of all foreigners residing in Spain. But this has not always been the case. Just as Colombians, Venezuelans and Ecuadorians were not always the majority part of this community. In this research work, the main characteristics of the Latin American migrant society are analysed by their origin, gender and age. In addition, the spatial distribution and the role of this group in the Spanish labour market are investigated. The challenges these individuals encounter and the implications for the countries of origin and destination are discussed. And we examined some injustices that we trust, in a few years, will be unthinkable.
