El inicio del uso de herramientas de inteligencia de negocio se ubica unas décadas atrás, con la introducción de los sistemas de información y el análisis de datos.
Sin embargo, en la actualidad, los avances tanto en hardware como en software, así como en el creciente interés en la digitalización,
está propiciando que las empresas busquen mejorar su desempeño y sus habilidades mediante el uso de inteligencia de negocio. El uso de Power BI será la herramientas para expandir el acceso a herramientas de inteligencia de negocio.
Una de estas nuevas herramientas es el Big Data, que surge como medio para gestionar la creciente cantidad de datos que se deben manejar
para conseguir los objetivos deseados. Este trabajo intentará evaluar la situación de utilización de datos en un negocio de Ingeniería y Construcción,
Para posteriormente ofrecer posibles herramientas que mejoren el uso de estos. Además se incluirá el proceso de creación de algunos indicadores estratégicos,
un punto esencial en la inteligencia de negocio.

The use of business intelligence tools started a few decades ago, with the introduction of information systems and data analysis.
However, nowadays, improvments in both hardware and software, as well as the growing interest in digitization,
is encouraging companies to seek to improve their performance and skills through the use of business intelligence.
One of these new tools is Big Data, which emerges as a framework to manage the growing amount of data that must be used
to achieve the desired objectives. This work will try to evaluate the situation of data utilization in an Engineering and Construction business,
in order to offer possible solutions that improve the use of these. It will also include the process of creating some strategic indicators (KPI),
an essential point in business intelligence. The use of Power BI will be the tool for engage more people over using BI tools.
