Análisis de Mapfre S.A.y búsqueda de sinergias con el sector bancario

El sector asegurador es unos de los sectores más sólidos y consolidados a nivel europeo. En el contexto económico y social en el que vivimos, la gran mayoría de las personas poseen un seguro, ya sea porque les obliga la ley o porque deseen protegerse de manera voluntaria ante cualquier riesgo que pueda afectar al patrimonio o a la vida de una persona. Es gracias a esta tradición y a la confianza hacia el sector asegurador por lo que ha sido siempre un sector muy estable y es una de las razones por las que nos dispondremos a hacer un profundo estudio de la aseguradora MAPFRE S.A. En este trabajo vamos a elaborar un análisis de carácter cualitativo y cuantitativo del Grupo MAPFRE S.A., en adelante “MAPFRE”, la entidad o la compañía, considerando su posicionamiento de mercado, sector en el que se encuentra y su trayectoria en los últimos años. El objetivo final del trabajo y motivación no es solo llegar a una conclusión consolidada y justificada sobre cómo debe posicionarse en inversor sobre las acciones de MAPFRE, es decir, si debe comprar, mantener o vender, sino también conocer en qué situación se encuentra la compañía actualmente, tanto a nivel externo como a nivel externo. Al mismo tiempo, al tratarse de un Trabajo Final de Máster, se pretende plasmar todos los conocimientos y habilidades adquiridas en él, así como la intención de profundizar en el conocimiento acerca de las aseguradoras y su modelo de negocio.

The insurance sector is one of the most solid and consolidated sectors at the European level. In the economic and social context in which we live, the vast majority of people have insurance, either because they are required by law or because they want to protect themselves voluntarily in the face of all the risks that affect the patrimony or the life of a person. It is thanks to this tradition and confidence towards the insurance sector that it has always been a very stable sector and it is one of the reasons why we will be willing to do a thorough study of the insurer MAPFRE S.A. In this work, we will prepare a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the MAPFRE S.A. Group, hereinafter "MAPFRE", considering its market position, sector in which it is and its trajectory in recent years. The final objective of the work and motivation is not only to arrive at a consolidated and justified conclusion on how to position itself as an investor in MAPFRE's actions, whether to buy, maintain the seller, but also to know in which situation the company is located currently as an internal level as an external level. At the same time, being a Final Master's Work, it is intended to capture all the knowledge and skills acquired in it, as well as the intention to deepen the knowledge about the insurers and their business model.
